Wild Salt Culinary – Terms of Service

By booking services with Wild Salt Culinary (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“client” or “you”) agree to the following terms. These policies are designed to keep things smooth, safe, and delicious for all involved.

1. Scope of Services

Wild Salt Culinary provides in-home personal chef services including:
• Custom meal planning
• Grocery shopping
• Cooking in your home
• Kitchen clean-up after service

We hold ourselves to high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness, and will care for your home and kitchen as if it were our own.

2. Client Responsibilities

We ask that you:
• Provide a clean, safe, and functional kitchen space
• Inform us of any parking or home access logistics
• Communicate any household expectations or preferences prior to the service date

Wild Salt Culinary is not responsible for delays or limitations in service due to unsafe, unsanitary, or inaccessible work environments.

3. Nutrition & Health Disclaimer

While Wild Salt Culinary is led by a Registered Dietitian, services provided are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical advice. Meals are designed for general wellness and enjoyment. If you have medical or dietary concerns, please consult with your healthcare provider before service.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made with at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed-upon service total. Rescheduling is allowed based on availability.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in writing.
• Accepted forms: We send an invoice via stripe for 50% of the fee prior to sending your menu and the remaining 50% plus any additional food cost above the estimate prior to service
• Larger bookings or custom packages may require a deposit to reserve your date
• Late payments may incur a fee

6. Kitchen Liability & Waiver

By booking services, you agree that Wild Salt Culinary is not responsible for:
• Pre-existing damage to kitchen equipment or appliances
• Injuries due to unsafe kitchen conditions not caused by us

We’ll always take care to leave your space in excellent condition.

7. Retreat Services & Travel Fees

Wild Salt Culinary offers private chef support for wellness retreats and off-site events.
• All retreat bookings are subject to a travel fee based on location and duration.
• Overnight accommodations and/or per diem may apply depending on the retreat’s scope.
• A signed agreement and deposit are required to reserve retreat dates.

8. Respect & Boundaries

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if there is any form of harassment, unsafe working conditions, or breach of agreement. We believe in kind communication, mutual respect, and working together with integrity and care.
